Orindans for Fair Road Funding
We are a group of Orinda residents who believe that it is unfair that twenty percent of Orinda's homeowners and taxpayers are prevented from having the streets they live on be designated public streets, and thus be publicly maintained with the taxes we all pay. This City policy precluding the inclusion of these streets into the City road network is also divisive and sets one faction of the community against another. There is no reason this inequity needs to be maintained. We invite others of the community, whether you live on a private street or a public street, to join us in asking the City Council to proactively address the problem.
If you have any questions feel free to contact us.
